December RUMbles and beginning the next phase in restoration!

Volunteers of the Restore Ubin Mangroves (R.U.M.) Initiative ended the year with our last free monthly walks, and a good cleanup of Ubin mangroves.

We also launch into the next phase: gathering community feedback and ideas for designing the restoration of Ubin mangroves. Please help by doing and sharing our online survey of what YOU would like to see and do in restored Ubin mangroves. The survey is also available in Chinese.

Thanks to Phillip Lin and the Sea Angel and R.U.M. volunteers, there was another wonderful walk for families and friends at Ubin mangroves. Thanks to MJ for great photos of the walk.

Ubin is a great place for families to get close to the mangroves and nature.

Lisa Lim and volunteers of the Nature Society (Singapore) made their last cleanup of the R.U.M. site
of 2017. Here's her message to all: "Appreciate and thank you all volunteers who have helped us in these initiatives throughout 2017. It may seemed like a small effort but know that every effort counts. And also taking this time to appreciate the few awesome volunteer co-leads who have been helping every month throughout the year. Big thank you! Let us continue to do our part for our environment. And we surely need more helping hands."
The next clean up is on 13 Jan! All are welcomed to join, register here.

Tell us what you want in the restored mangroves of Pulau Ubin!
