Two great activities on 22 Jul (Sat) for R.U.M.! A gathering of experts to speak on mangroves plus R.U.M., followed by cleanup at a R.U.M. site.

Simply come to Ubin on 16 Jul (Sun) as R.U.M. joins the fun for the Grand Finale of Pesta Ubin.

Reaching out with R.U.M. in May and June!

R.U.M. volunteers had fun celebrating Pesta Ubin, getting into the Kampung Spirit!

And working hard at 3 key activities, to reach out to more than 1,000 people about Ubin mangroves and our efforts to restore them.

3 June (Sat): R.U.M. at Balik Chek Jawa

FREE, no registration required, just come to Chek Jawa! As part of Pesta Ubin, the Restore Ubin Mangroves Initiative(R.U.M.) volunteers will be at this Chek Jawa Open House to share more about Ubin's Mangroves!

Mangrove madness with RUM!

Volunteer guides will be stationed all over the boardwalk to share about Chek Jawa's amazing wildlife. Fun for the whole family, there will be free colouring sheets and kids activities too!

20 May(Sat): FREE Ubin mangrove fun with R.U.M.

Come to Ubin and join in the fun! The R.U.M. volunteers are excited to share about Ubin's mangroves! To celebrate Pesta Ubin and World Biodiversity Day! We will be part of a mini-festival which features FREE Kampung Games and FREE Kampung Photo Booth. Plus, lots of other happenings for Pesta Ubin.

We're excited to share about the mangroves of Ubin and how the Restore Ubin Mangroves Initiative (R.U.M.) hopes to use Ecological Mangrove Restoration to bring mangroves back to abandoned aquaculture ponds.

Awesome April with R.U.M.

This month, the RUMblers (as R.U.M. volunteers call ourselves), cleaned up R.U.M. sites, checked R.U.M. sites for plant health, did the monthly R.U.M. walk and also contributed to conversations about Ubin. Rachel Quek and her team continue their dedicated work filming R.U.M. and Ubin.

Thank you Chen Xi, intern for the Restore Ubin Mangroves (R.U.M.) Initiative. Her ideas, talent and support had made this an awesome April!
